Membership of the AIHV is open to individuals, corporate bodies and institutions. Membership offers the right to register for the Congresses and to receive the Congress Annales either free (members and institutional members) or at half price (student members).
Membership is free for students who can prove they are enrolled in a study programme. For all other members, a subscription applies. Membership is normally for three years. Exceptionally, the current period (2022-2024) has been extended by one year.
This was due to the postponement of the 2024 Congress. The subscription rate for 2022-2025 is €90 for individuals and €150 for institutions.
The Annales of the Congresses are free to individual and institutional members. The AIHV allows up to four members of an institution to attend the Congresses, but only one copy of the Annales is sent to each institutional member. Student members have the opportunity to buy the ones that are published during the time they are members at half price.
